Between the Sequin Gown, String Lights, and Sunlight, this Intimate Normandy Wedding Positively Glowed
May 18, 2019 by Khoi Nguyen in Wedding 0 Comments

Beth and Marcus’ Normandy wedding was the garden party of our wildest dreams! The couple held their intimate celebration at a cozy French Airbnb, which allowed them to set up a ceremony space nestled among the trees and organize a picnic-style reception amid the lush, overgrown gardens. Their decor centered around twinkle lights, dream catchers, boho rugs and pillows, and simple garlands of eucalyptus, and the result was truly captivating. The bride wore a stunning sequin Needle & Thread gown that sparkled from every angle and the groom looked dashing in an emerald ASOS suit that was the perfect combination of modern and timeless. Photographers Eastlyn & Joshua truly captured the dream-like vibes of this Normandy wedding, and even took us along on the couple’s romantic day-after adventure at the Cliffs of Etretat! The Couple: Beth and Marcus The Wedding: Airbnb, Normandy, France There are so many memories that stand out from the day, but writing letters to each other and then reading them whilst I was in the bath is the clearest one. Eastlyn & Joshua, our photographers, advised us to find the time in the day before the ceremony to take in the moment. Clasping each other’s hands and whispering together in the silence felt […]

May 17, 2019 by Khoi Nguyen in Wedding 0 Comments

Haley and Andrew’s forest wedding at Gold Mountain Golf Club was as whimsical and as naturally elegant as could be! Their moody color palette was a combination of forest-inspired hues with pops of maroon for a hint of color that added elegance without overwhelming the natural feel. For her bridal look, Haley channeled forest fairy vibes with a delicate lace gown and handmade gold leaf crown created by Crown Me and carried that same vibe into the bridesmaids’ style with crushed velvet dresses. Kylie Morgan Photography nailed it in capturing every moment of this dreamy forest wedding, including one of the best “first looks” we’ve ever seen! The Couple: Haley and Andrew The Wedding: Gold Mountain Golf Club, Bremerton, Washington The most important thing to us was keeping it true to who we are! We had tacos, so much dancing, and lots of laughter. We wanted it to feel like a big dinner party with all of our closest friends, and we feel like we achieved that by planning it around our values! The prank I planning on the day of the wedding was meant to lighten the mood and keep Andrew laughing throughout the day. I pretended I wanted to do a first look with […]

The Couple: Tiffany and Ashley The Wedding: Cortal Gran, Costa Brava, Spain Tiffany is Australian and Ashley is English, so we initially discussed locations somewhere between the two countries which would have the best odds at providing beautiful warm and sunny weather. The Bride’s Galia Lahav Gown Provided the Victorian Inspiration Behind This James Burden Mansion Wedding
May 7, 2019 by Khoi Nguyen in Wedding 0 Comments

Xiaoran and Hua gave us all the classic Victorian vibes in their New York wedding at James Burden Mansion! The bride had always dreamed of wearing an incredible gown on her wedding day so, when she fell in love with an organza, off-the-shoulder stunner from Galia Lahav, a regal vibe was the only natural fit for the rest of the day. BLB Events brought ornate vintage decor, luxurious textiles, and eye-catching florals designed by Devon & Pinkett into perfect harmony with the grand venue, and Nine Cakes created a show-stopping hand-painted wedding cake to match the sophisticated feel. No detail was left unattended, and Nicole Ashley Photography captured it with such creativity and artistry! The Couple: Xiaoran and Hua The Wedding: James Burden Mansion, Manhattan, New York I believe a lot of girls dream of wearing the most beautiful wedding gown when they marry their man. So the very first thing I did was purchase my wedding dress! The gown was a Victorian style, so I made sure the rest of the wedding had a similar style. When I was getting ready on the wedding day, I got a bouquet from my soon-to-be husband. I asked him later why he brought me a bouquet, knowing how many flowers we had throughout the decor. He […]

The Vintage Vibes in This Mill at Yellow River Wedding Managed to Be Effortlessly Modern

When it comes to vintage charm, Brynn and Andrew’s Mill at Yellow River wedding takes the cake! Blush & Bashful Events helped give the couple’s love of vintage a modern twist that looked absolutely gorgeous inside the rustic-chic venue. JL Designs created floral arrangments in a mix of vibrant and warm oranges that added a touch of autumnal elegance to the entire look. We’re whole-heartedly obsessed with every detail of this wedding, especially the bride’s off-the-shoulder Theia Couture gown and handmade veil! From first look to the sparkler exit, photographer Katelyn Ortego truly captured the magic of this Georgia wedding! The Couple: Brynn and Andrew The Wedding: Mill at Yellow River, Porterdale, Georgia Staying true to ourselves was the most important during planning! We didn’t want to do something just because it’s a thing people do! we wanted everything to be authentic, meaningful, and a celebration. The most memorable part of our day was our first look before the ceremony! Spending time together alone was so special and magical we can’t imagine it any other way.  Our advice is to start planning early because the details can really start to pile up quickly. We only had 6 months to plan our wedding, and we really didn’t start until 2 months in…oops! […]

Scandinavian Style Meets Moroccan Flair in this Boho Helsinki Wedding
May 3, 2019 by Khoi Nguyen in Wedding 0 Comments

Maria and Juuso’s Helsinki wedding was the perfect combination of modern style and bohemian charm! The couple’s DIY-heavy decor complemented their indoor/outdoor venue, Bokvillan, adding just the right amount of personality without overwhelming the inherent beauty. Their neutral color palette actually revolved around second-hand brass candlesticks they found at flea markets around the city. Then they brought in furniture, rugs, and accent pieces from their own home along with the prettiest minimal floral designs from Syväsen Kukka to round out the look. Photographer Patrick Karkkolainen could not have captured this day more perfectly, from the couple’s private vow exchange to their golden hour portraits! The Couple: Maria and Juuso The Wedding: Bokvillan, Helsinki, Finland The most important thing was to make the day reflect us and for our guests to feel the love that we share with each other. We wanted them and us to feel at home and to feel like our wedding was a big celebration of love and life itself. Our vows, which we shared before the ceremony, were the most memorable part of the day. The things that we said to each other will live in our hearts forever. Also, seeing our guests dancing to the Latin rhythms that our performer Daniel […]

Get Inspired by the Spanish Influence on this Casa Cody Wedding in Palm Springs
April 27, 2019 by Khoi Nguyen in Uncategorized 0 Comments

Lauren and Steven’s beautiful Casa Cody wedding was full of sunshine, tacos, and dancing…is there anything better?! Kelsey Rae Designs helped the couple bring a New York vibe to the California desert and made it all feel effortlessly chic. Love Her Madly took cues from the Spanish-style venue to create floral arrangements in neutral tones with moody pops of color that added elegance without taking anything away from the inherent charm. To round out the day, the couple served tacos, classic deli staples, ice cream sandwiches, and custom cocktails in a tiny mobile bar, all of which spoke to the couple’s fun-loving (and food-loving!) nature. Photographers Joe+Kathrina captured every moment of this wedding beautifully, especially the couple’s post-ceremony portraits in the windmill-studded desert! The Couple: Lauren and Steven The Wedding: Casa Cody, Palm Springs, California We chose Palm Springs because Lauren‘s family used to vacation there as when she was a kid and because we knew that it would offer such a unique California experience. And finding Casa Cody was love at first sight! We visited a handful of other venues but nothing else compared. It is just a gorgeous, unique, historical property. We wanted to feel like we were hanging out in a backyard full of the people […]
