Here are our best tips to make your vision come to life while keeping your wallet happy! photo by Cody & Allison Photography 1. Use items from your own home. Look around your house and get creative with ways you could use some of the décor you already own to decorate your wedding reception. In addition to saving money, you guarantee your wedding will feel like “you.” photo by Pat Furey Photo 2. Repurpose your ceremony décor. Becca and Devin gave classic style a modern flair in their Seattle wedding at Trinity Tree Farm! Their indoor and outdoor celebration started with a ceremony in the venue’s lush garden, backed by the prettiest greenery and rose-accented arch. Then they moved inside for a sophisticated reception in the grand, all-white lodge, which sparkled with the warm glow of twinkle lights and candles. Florists Remi + Gold created arrangements in fresh pinks and whites that looked gorgeous in both in the indoor and outdoor space and would be the perfect inspiration for any summertime wedding. From getting ready with their loved ones to cuddling in the venue’s tree farm, photographer Hannah Posey didn’t miss a beat in capturing every angle of this sophisticated and outdoorsy celebration! The Couple: Becca and Devin The Wedding: Trinity Tree Farm, Seattle, Washington We wanted our wedding to reflect the two of us more than anything. We made a rule early on that there were no rules—we weren’t going to do something just because it’s what most people do. We wanted it to be simple and enjoyable, and we wanted our guests to thoroughly enjoy the entire event. The most memorable part for us was finally having all of our […]Read More
Danae and Travis’ all-white wedding at Wolf Feather Honey Farm was total summer wedding goals! The couple took their guests out into the desert for a carefree day full of food, fun, and laughter. Their mix of bohemian textiles, rustic wooden accents, and vintage details were as whimsical as they were beautiful, and the all-white attire of everyone in attendance gave the entire event a desert chic vibe. The DeLauras were on hand to capture every moment of this unique and totally unforgettable summer wedding! The Couple: Danae and Travis The Wedding: Wolf Feather Honey Farm, Temecula, California Planning weddings can be very stressful and put a lot of pressure on couples. So, we made a very conscious decision to not let planning our wedding take over our lives. We knew from the beginning we wanted the wedding to not only be about us but about all the people who are responsible for us having such a successful relationship! The first look was so much more emotional and special then we expected. We had our whole bridal party watching and that moment when we got to see each other on the day we were committing our lives to one another was something I can’t put into […]Read More
If you were hoping to lose yourself in a dinner party in the forest filled with the prettiest autumnal color palette and the most charming DIY details, you’re in luck! Elizabeth and Steven’s intimate wedding at Loloma Lodge had all that and so much more. The couple took their nearest and dearest into the forest for a retreat-style wedding weekend, and Mae & Co. Creative helped bring their relaxed, al fresco dinner party dreams to life. This wedding had everything we love most about fall weddings, including an autumnal orange and red palette, lush florals designed by Goodseed Floral, cafe lights strung through the trees, and sweet details handmade by the couple and their family. Oh, and did we mention it all took place next to a river? Yes, it was as dreamy as it sounds, and Dylan M Howell Photography captured it all in remarkable detail! The Couple: Elizabeth and Steven The Wedding: Loloma Lodge, McKenzie River, Oregon Our first look felt really special. We have been together for so long that I wasn’t sure the first look would be such a moment but it really brought me back to the first time we saw each other at our high school prom — we were so excited […]Read More

Minimal details, a cozy ceremony in a barn, and the prettiest spring color palette…yes, you could say we’re totally obsessed with Chloe and Gabe’s rustic-chic North Carolina VRBO wedding! The couple rented Sugar Mountain House for their day and poured their love and attention into making it all about community and togetherness. Even with a last-minute ceremony change from the beautiful outdoors to the coziest barn, this wedding felt as natural and as effortless and as joyful as possible! Michelle Lyerly Photography was there every step of the way to capture not only the big moments but the in-between magic that made this day truly one-of-a-kind. The Couple: Chloe and Gabe The Wedding: Sugar Mountain House, Banner Elk, North Carolina The ceremony was otherworldly! It was so intimate and tender. We had expected to get married outside, but the weather had other plans. So we got married in a tiny little barn, which ended up being so much better than we could have planned. Everyone we loved was so close and snuggled up on wooden benches and I could see everyone so clearly. It was such an emotional supernatural 20 minutes. It was perfect! The pastor who married us counseled us for 8 months before […]Read More
It’s hard to say what we loved most about Madison and Dylan’s Kansas wedding because, honestly, this special day was a total knockout! The couple’s outdoor ceremony was bursting with joy and heartfelt worship, and the natural setting at the bride’s parent’s home made it all the more beautiful. To complement the earthy feel of the space, the couple chose neutral hues — inspired by the bridesmaids’ mismatched dresses — and added deep red accents for a truly elegant and romantic look. For a slight bohemian feel, they also included antlers, wood table accents, and mismatched candle holders and vases. No detail was left unattended, and Monique Serra Photography did a fabulous job capturing every bit of this beautiful wedding! The Couple: Madison and Dylan The Wedding: Private Residence, Hays, Kansas I had been dreaming about my wedding day since I was a little girl, so it was exciting to be able to watch my vision come to life during planning. But the most important aspect for our wedding day to reflect was the love of God. My husband and I had an extremely hard breakup about two years before our wedding day, and I learned so much about what God’s faithfulness […]Read More
Caroline and Luis transported the vibrancy of Mexico to France in their unbelievably fun wedding at Château Grand Boise! The couple wanted to weave both of their cultures and backgrounds into every aspect of their special day and the result was nothing short of spectacular. One Day Event channeled the colors of the rainbow for their floral design and the couple added DIY pinatas, paper goods, and favors to round out the decor. From the colorful garden ceremony to the fun-filled, dance-till-you-drop reception, Blossom&Co was there to capture every moment of this one-of-a-kind multicultural wedding! The Couple: Caroline and Luis The Wedding: Château Grand Boise, Provence, France The ceremony was, without a doubt, the most memorable part of the entire weekend. I will never forget the moment I saw Caroline walking down the aisle with her father and the uncontrollable emotions that ensued for us both. Since we chose to have a nonreligious ceremony, the entire thing really felt like a blank slate, open to translation and interpretation. Our wedding officiant, Katia, was instrumental in the personalization of our ceremony and took her time to get to know us and our relationship in order to make that moment as special and personal as possible. We even chose not […]Read More

Kelly Redinger Photography knocked it out of the park with this one, capturing every intimate look, every incredible detail, and every little moment that made this lakefront wedding a total dream! The Couple: Jacinta and Kyle The Wedding: Jackfish Lake, Albert, Canada Both of us truly share the same moments as our favourite parts of our wedding day, with perhaps one to be slightly more memorable than the other. Kyle says he felt the most emotional during our first look. ”The best way to describe how I felt in that moment is extreme wonder and admiration. It was just the overwhelming feeling of how a person can see […]Read More
